Thomas Shefchik brings a strong healthcare background and a passion for helping individuals and families navigate important insurance decisions with confidence. His experience working closely with patients, healthcare organizations, and community leaders allows him to simplify the insurance process and provide knowledgeable, trustworthy guidance tailored to each client’s needs.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is licensed in Health and Life Insurance. With nearly 25 years of healthcare and leadership experience, he offers clients a unique perspective when evaluating coverage options and planning for their future.
He began his career with the American Cancer Society, where he worked closely with patients, healthcare providers, and major cancer centers to improve quality of care and patient support programs. He later served as Vice President of Advancement at Bellin College, where he helped strengthen opportunities for students and the community through fundraising, scholarship development, and alumni engagement. Throughout his career, Thomas has remained committed to serving others and building meaningful relationships that positively impact the lives of those around him. Today, he brings that same dedication to helping clients through thoughtful insurance planning.
Thomas joined TMS Financial in August 2023 and focuses on providing personalized, one-on-one support for clients making health and life insurance decisions. He is committed to making the process approachable and understandable while helping clients choose coverage that supports both their health and financial well-being. Originally from Luxemburg, Wisconsin, Thomas now lives in De Pere with his wife, Amanda, and their three children.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the water, exploring National Parks, and supporting his children in their activities.
