Nikki Coolman is enthusiastic about helping individuals and small businesses navigate their accounting and tax needs with confidence and ease. She understands that financial and tax matters can often feel overwhelming, especially during difficult times such as handling trust and estate filings, and she is dedicated to making the process as manageable and stress-free as possible for her clients.
Nikki graduated from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, and earned her CPA license while working in public accounting. She began her career in public accounting in 2004 before transitioning into the banking industry, where she spent 17 years building extensive financial and client service experience. After taking a year away from the workforce to spend time with her family, Nikki decided to return to her passion for tax and accounting by joining TMS Financial.
Since joining TMS Financial in June 2023, Nikki has focused on small business, individual, trust, and estate tax returns, as well as accounting services and assistance with IRS and state tax notices. She enjoys helping clients better understand their financial situations while providing reliable, personalized support.
Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family and visiting extended family in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She also enjoys running, practicing yoga, and reading.
