Abby Savolt is passionate about helping small businesses and individuals navigate their accounting and tax compliance needs with confidence. She is dedicated to using her knowledge and expertise to support clients so they can focus on the work and goals they are most passionate about.
Abby graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with degrees in Accounting, Hispanic Studies, and Latin American Studies. Shortly after graduation, she became a licensed CPA in Minnesota. She began her career at a national public accounting firm, where she spent six years preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
In January 2023, Abby joined TMS Financial, where she focuses on providing tax compliance and consulting services for individuals, businesses, nonprofits, trusts, and estates. In addition to tax services, she also assists clients with payroll, bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online training, and other accounting needs.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending time with her partner, Rutger. Together, they enjoy biking the COGGS trails in Duluth and cross-country skiing in parks around the area. Abby also enjoys gardening and traveling to new places.
